Lenny Wayne
7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Lenny Wayne was born and raised in the Bay Area. At the age of 16 he began performing in venues up and down the California coast.
In 1976 he joined the popular Bay Area 50's show group Daddy-O (a cast of thousands). In Daddy-O he was dubbed Lenny Linguini, the hip shaking crooner.
The Daddy-O show consisted of musical comedy skits with costume changes and classic renditions of songs from the 50's and 60's as well as parodies on topical political events of the times. Lenny Linguini, like the rest of the ensemble executed many quick costume changes portraying many different characters. It was an entertaining show that could be described as a combination of Shanana and Saturday Night Live.
These days Lenny Wayne performs his acoustic renditions of songs from an eclectic song list. He takes you on a musical journey from the 1950's to the present. His show features songs from Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bobby Darin, The Beatles, The Band, Cat Stevens, Van Morrison, Elton John, The Stones, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Jackson Brown, Chris Isac, Matt Nathanson, Adelle, Jason Maraz, John Mayer, Ray Montagne, and original songs by Lenny Wayne himself!
